Announcements for July 2nd

First of all, I wanted to announce the winner of our 'Name the
Newsletter' contest. It was a very close race, but the winner is (drum
roll please) The Greene Vine, so congratulations to Patrick Keeler!
We'll be in touch about your fabulous prize shortly. The first issue
of our monthly newsletter will be available at distribution July 2nd
and 9th, so be sure to pick up a copy! We are seeking an editor for
next month's newsletter as well. Please let me know if you might be
interested in helping with this.

Shares for this week are expected to contain romaine lettuce, parsley,
kohlrabi, cabbage, cilantro, zucchini, and your choice of swiss chard
or collard greens. Fruit shares for this week will be a quart of
cherries. Speaking of fruit shares, we currently have one extra B week
fruit share available - please let me know if you are interested in
adding a half fruit share, starting this week Wednesday.

Also, as far as egg shares go, I am very sorry to announce that our
egg share has fallen through for this year. If you already submitted a
payment for eggs, we will have reimbursement checks at the
distribution site this week and next week. If you are an A week member
and would like to be reimbursed sooner than that, please let me know,
and again, I apologize that the egg option didn't work out. Farm-
fresh, pastured eggs can be ordered from Lewis-Waite farms throughout
the season, however. More information on that will be available
shortly.

Last of all, I wanted to announce that we could once again use some
extra help at distribution this week, for both the 3:15 - 5:45 shift
and the 5:30 - 8 pm shift. For the early shift we especially need
someone who will be able to help carry heavier items over to the
distribution site. Please email me if you are able to come help us
out.
